1. The preview
Local Launch is a private homepage preview for eligible businesses. It starts from a KGSITES template and includes a maximum of one hour of total KGSITES production time. The hour may include reviewing supplied information, selecting the template, adapting styling, placing content and preparing the preview.
2. Eligibility and capacity
KGSITES may accept or decline a request according to business suitability, information supplied, technical fit, lawful use and available capacity. Submitting a request does not guarantee that KGSITES will create a preview.
3. Client-supplied material
The business must supply accurate information and may only provide names, logos, photographs, text and other material it has the right to use. KGSITES may use placeholders where suitable material is not supplied within the available production time.
4. Revisions and extra work
The one-hour allowance covers all work on the free preview. A requested change can use any time that remains. Work beyond the allowance—including additional pages, custom design, copywriting, integrations, ecommerce, database features, mailbox setup or migration—is not free and requires a separate pack or quote.
5. No obligation
The business can decide not to use the preview and pay nothing. The unpublished preview remains KGSITES property and may be withdrawn after the decision period stated when it is delivered.
6. Launch and hosting
If the business accepts the preview, a suitable static homepage can be launched on KGSITES Website Hosting from £10 per month. Domain registration, paid software, third-party services and unusual requirements are separate unless included in writing. Server email is included for normal business correspondence, but mailbox creation, migration and device setup are not included in the preview.
7. Ownership after payment
After the first cleared £10 hosting payment, ownership of the completed client-specific HTML, CSS and JavaScript supplied as the homepage transfers to the client, even if hosting is later cancelled. KGSITES retains ownership of reusable templates, generators, tools, libraries, systems and general components. Open-source and third-party assets remain subject to their own licences.
8. Cancellation
Cancelling hosting ends the hosting service under the applicable cancellation and service terms. It does not reverse ownership of client-specific homepage code that has already transferred. The client is responsible for arranging another suitable host, migration, domain configuration and email service after cancellation; KGSITES may quote for assistance.
9. Payment and VAT
No payment is due for a declined preview. Hosting payment is due before launch. KGSITES is not VAT registered, so VAT is not added to advertised KGSITES prices.
10. Other terms
The KGSITES service terms, privacy policy and cancellation terms also apply where relevant. If a written project order conflicts with these general offer terms, the specifically agreed written term takes priority for that order.
